Prospecting Is The Key........

If you are in network marketing this is going to a big part of your success. Have an unlimited amount of leads. That means you are going to have to have some type of system in place that will help you with this. I personally think these days with social media sites buying leads is a waste of money. Social media sites you can get to an unlimited amount of people but you have to know how to turn these people into propects. You do that by building a relationship with these people on these sites, not by trying to sell them your business.

The Power Of Asking The Right Questions

Alot of people think that the person who is doing all of the talking is control of the conversation, but that is far from the truth. The person who is asking the questions is in control. So my point is in sales you must learn the power of asking the right questions. Also listening to what the other person is saying. That will give you the ultimate control in any conversation.

Your Best Thinking............

I was listening to some cd's earlier today and on the cd's the lady was talking about being successful in business. A lot of people have a hard time moving forward in business. Guys it all comes down to the way you think. Your best thinking got you to where you are today, so if you want to change your results change your thinking. The Importance Of A Journal

I think everyone should keep a journal. Some of the reasons why is if you have kids it's something you can pass along to them. Also if your in business you should keep a journal for when things are going right you can put everything down that you have been doing. If for some reason it stops going right you can go back and go through your journal and look back at when things were going your way. If you don't have a journal you should start one as soon as possible. I started keeping a journal back in 2005 after hearing one of my mentors speak on the importance of keeping a journal.

Success

I was reading a email a few days ago about success and failure. It had me really thinking about this is and what I came up with about success and failure. I want you to picture a red cloth in your mind and on one side of it I want you to see failure and on the other side I want you to picture success. My point is that you can't become successful in anything if you don't fail, so you have to fail to get to success. One of my sayings that I always say is that there is no failures there are just learning experiences. What it all boils down to mostly is everybody can be successful if they are willing to fail.

Procrastination is one of the main reasons most people will not be successful. Most people go through life not succeeding because they habitually wait for the right time to start doing something worth while. Do not wait! The time will never be right for you to go after your dreams and goals. Start right now today where you are and work with whatever tools you may have and better tools will be found as you go along the way. So make today the day you start going after your dreams with everything you have.

Do You Have A Why!

If you want to be successful in free enterprise, you must have a way. It's not going to be easy, I can guarantee that you will encounter some challenges. If you don't have a strong reason for doing what you were doing, you will quit and most importantly your why can't just be money. It has to be something bigger than money. I will share my why with you, my why is my wonderful wife, children and mother. They are the reason I do what I do. When my children get ready to go to college I will be able to write the check instead of them having to get a student loan. If my wife needs anything I mean anything I will be able to provide and the same thing for my mom. Let me give you an example of some of the challenges I've faced in my journey. When I first started in network marketing I did very wel and then anything that could happen happened. The person I was working with quit. Most of the team that I had quit and it was just me trying to get things back on track. I didn't quit because my why was so strong. I started investng in myself looking for ways to improve my skills. I knew I could build it bigger and better and guess what I'm doing it. One thing I can assure you about people if thy don't have a strong enough why, they will quit on their dreams,so if your in this game of free enterprise and don't have a why...... I advise you to discover yours.

Success and Failure

Success and failure there is only a distinct difference between the two. It all comes down to your habits. If you are going to become successful in your life or business, it all boils down to good work habits.

I love sports I always think of the man Michael Jordan, always before the games when he played he went out an hour before anybody else came out and practiced shooting. Next, Jerry Rice a former NFL player who use to play for the 49'ers. Anytime a new player came on the team, the coach use to say if you want to be good adopt Jerry's work ethics. So if you want to be successful in business or life just find someone that is very successful and either category and do what they do.

The Importance Of A Daily Plan

Do you have a daily plan of action? I didn't know how important it was to have a daily plan of action until, the first of this month. I attended a seminar and one of the speakers spoke on having a daily plan. So I started putting a plan together every night for the next day and as a result my daily productions went thru the roof. It helped me with my time management. So if you have a business and your working full time or part time I can guarantee you, if you put a daily plan of action in place and do them, your results will increase.

Are Your Goals To Big?

Are your goals to big? What I mean by that is that we always hear, you must set big goals. But a few years ago I was listening to my mentors and what he said made so much sense. Let me share it with everyone, we must set smaller goals, let me say that again.... WE must set smaller goals. Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about you can't set a goal to go from $0 - $20,000 in one month. You have to set smaller like get to your first $500 a month. Then from $500 set goal to get to $1,000 your next month. This technique really works! I use to set big goals and wasn't going anywhere now I'm setting smaller goals and accomplishing a lot.

Laser Focus

You must learn to be laser focused to be successful. It doesnt matter what you are doing, if you want to be at the top of your game... you must set some time aside everyday and become laser focused. Laser focused on the activities that are going to pay you.

If your in the network marketing industry the only thing that truly pays you is recruiting and that's the bottom line. So you first have to be willing to learn the skills and get focused to learn how to do it the right way.

Why Do You Need To Work on Yourself?

I have heard it over and over again, "Work on yourself harder than you work on your business". For a long time I just didn't understand it but now I do! You have to work on yourself by improving your skills, positioning yourself around the right people, reading the right books and going to seminars.

If you remember my last post 97% does the opposite of the 3%. If you go to a 3%'er home they will have a library. Most likely a 97%'er won't.

So no matter what work on yourself harder than your business or anything else. If you do that you will attract the right people in your life.
